Paste your text, choose the options, run the tool, and review the output before copying or downloading it.

Method and boundaries

The transformation works on detected word or text segments while preserving separators where the tool promises to do so. The same deterministic settings produce the same result when a seed is supported.

Frequently asked questions
Can I add a marker on only one side?

Yes. Leave either side blank and fill the other. At least one of the two fields must contain a symbol.

Are the symbols added to punctuation too?

No. The tool wraps detected word-like segments; whitespace and punctuation tokens are copied unchanged. A symbol can touch punctuation if the punctuation sits next to a word.

Can the markers contain more than one character?

Yes. Each side accepts text, not just a single glyph, so pairs such as [[ and ]] work. The markers are added as entered.

Word boundaries differ between languages and scripts. Long inputs are capped so the page remains responsive; review the output when punctuation, apostrophes, or compound words matter.
