How to use

Paste your text, choose the options, run the tool, and review the output before copying or downloading it.

Method and boundaries

Words are segmented with Unicode-aware rules, split into character groups, and shuffled with a seeded Fisher–Yates process while the chosen punctuation rules are applied.

Frequently asked questions
Why can fixing the first letter keep several letters fixed?

The tool fixes character groups. With a group size of 2, fixing the first group keeps the first two characters.

Why do different words change differently with the same seed?

Each word combines its position with the seed to create an independent random stream, while the complete result remains repeatable.

Why does a short word sometimes stay unchanged?

There may be only one movable group, or the first, middle, and last settings may protect every group.

Privacy and references

Text is processed in this browser and is not uploaded.

Short words, fully protected groups, or a shuffle that happens to return the original order may remain unchanged. Punctuation modes can split the text into separate segments.
