Method and boundaries
The tool finds runs of letters, numbers, combining marks, apostrophes, and hyphens, then reverses each group of the chosen size. Separators stay in place, while apostrophes and hyphens follow the selected mode.

Will spaces and punctuation be preserved?
Spaces and punctuation outside detected runs stay in place. Apostrophes and hyphens can split a run, move with the group, or stay fixed, depending on your choices.
Can I repeat the same operation?
Yes. Using the output as new input applies the same rules again. Use Reset to return to the starting state.
Does my text leave the browser?
No. Processing is local and the input is not uploaded.

The tool does not use a dictionary to decide word boundaries; it processes continuous Unicode letter and number runs. Chinese or Japanese text without spaces may be treated as one run. Long inputs are capped to keep the browser responsive.
