The original preview appears after you upload a file.
Upload a GIF, choose a source color, replacement color, and tolerance, and replace only background pixels connected to the frame edges.

The result area places the original and output side by side and lists dimensions, frames, duration, and file size so you can check the result.
The animated preview is for a quick check. Treat the downloaded file, re-parsed for dimensions, frames, delays, and looping, as the final result.
A four-neighbor search starts at the edge of each frame. It continues while the pixel's RGB distance from the source color is no greater than the tolerance, then replaces the connected pixels.
Similar colors that connect the background to the subject can still be selected. Complex textures, shadows, and gradients usually need a smaller tolerance.
Reading, decoding, pixel processing, and result generation happen in this browser. Files are not uploaded, third-party runtime APIs are not called, and input is not saved.
GIF parsing and output structure follow the GIF89a format description. Browsers and players can differ in how they display very short delays, finite loops, and color quantization.
It starts at each frame edge and follows four-neighbor pixels close to the source color. Matching pixels enclosed inside the subject are left alone.
Start low for flat backgrounds and raise it gradually for compression noise or soft edges. A high tolerance can reach into similarly colored subject areas.
